1] What is the Exede/WildBlue service and where is it available?

Exede/WildBlue is a high-speed Internet access service for homes, home offices and small offices. It is available in most locations across the United States. In Western Oregon, you will need a clear view of the southeast sky at an approximate azimuth of ~ 38 degrees.

2] Is the new Exede better than the earlier WildBlue service?

Exede new Satellite ViaSat-1 uses the latest technology to provide far more superior service & way faster speeds (12 Mbps). The monthly data usage capacity is much more than the older Wildblue service.

3] What kind of speed can I expect?

In Western Oregon, WildBlue offers up to 12 Mbps download speed and up to 3 Mbps upload speed.

4] What equipment is needed to get the service?

It’s easy. All you need is a WildBlue mini dish and a WildBlue modem. Call us for more details.

5] How much does it cost to get installed?

Depending on ongoing promotions, it runs around $49 to $99 dollars to get installed. Call us for more details.

6] How much does it cost per month?

There are 3 plans to chose from depending on your monthly data usage. 10 GB ($49.99/mo), 15GB ($79.99/mo) & 25GB ($129.99/mo)

7] Are there any additional monthly costs?

There is $9.99 monthly modem rental fee. Local Taxes may apply.

8] How does Exede compare with Hughes Satellite Internet?

Exede uses a much more advanced technology to deliver almost 10 times faster service than Hughes. It does not have a daily limit like Hughes and the monthly data usage is way more than Hughes. With the new Exede you can now stream movies which is not possible with Hughes. And it is more economical to get installed + the monthly costs are lower.

9] Is there a contract and if so, what are the early termination fees?

Customers are required to sign a 24 month contract when they initiate service. If you cancel the Service before completion of the Minimum Service Term or Extension Term, the Termination Fee is equal to the number of months left in your Minimum Service Term multiplied by $15.00.
